What is DrRota?
Rota planning software for UK general practice.
It takes the rota you already run — fixed working days; duty, triage and surgery sessions — absorbs leave, looks for cover inside the practice within each GP's limits, and prices whatever's left as locum sessions. Built and supported in the UK by Aivahn Ltd.

The order you already work in
Leave first, internal cover next, locums last. DrRota proposes; nothing moves until you say so.

Find cover
Cover is sought inside the practice first, keeping everyone on the days they normally work and within their duty and triage limits.
Check the cost
Whatever can't be covered internally is priced as a locum session, with a running total for the week as you go.
Decide
Accept it, move a session, or ignore it entirely. It stays a proposal until you approve it.

Built alongside a London practice, so the rules that trip up generic scheduling tools are in it by default.
Duty and triage are different jobs
Some GPs do duty, some triage, some both. DrRota keeps to who does what, and to the maximum each person takes on in a normal week.
Nobody gets moved to a day they don't work
Fixed working days stay fixed. Moving someone is your call, not the software's.
Clinics are booked weeks ahead
Change a session type too close to the day and patients are already booked in. DrRota plans in blocks, ahead of the appointment book.

No patient data
Staff scheduling information only — names, work emails, sessions and leave. No patient record, list or identifier goes near it.
UK-hosted, encrypted, backed up
Hosted in London on UK infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest, with daily encrypted backups and tested restores.
Nothing to install
It runs in the browser over HTTPS. Sign-in is passwordless, so there is no password to store, share or forget.
